Tomb of Annihilation

This Tomb of Annihilation review is to give you lovely readers a good idea about this book.

This book is for parties to go from level 1 to 12. It is a grueling challenge as well.

Luckily there are some new goodies to play with to hopefully get you through it…

Overall Impression

Basically this book can be split into 2 parts: Pre Tomb and In Tomb.

Pre tomb is all the lead up to the Tomb. It is a very exploration driven side of the campaign that can be quite fun for those who enjoy that aspect of the game.

In Tomb is one of the hardest dungeon crawls I have partaken in to date.

Considering you go through 4 mid tier levels within the tomb alone tells you how long you’ll be in this mad house.

But that is the fun part is it not?

Depends on your view of fun I guess. You don’t have to use the tomb as a part of your adventure if your party isn’t into that. There is some plenty of great content for them out there dealing with snake cults and the like.

Conclusion

Fortunately for everyone involved this adventure isn’t on the sword coast. So if you are bored with those adventure settings by all means get this book!

It’s an awesome adventure that is set in a jungle terrain for those who liked the Total War: Warhammer 2 vibe. At least that’s what I kept thinking of maybe its more like Indiana Jones but still loads of fun for all.

Its very grueling so enter at your own risk!
